Tennis Looks to the Future

The 10th edition of the International Tennis Symposium, attended by more than 300 operators including Tennis Coaches and representatives of Italian and Foreign Tennis and Sports Clubs, was held on 15-16 November this year in Milan. This educational event which provides a wealth of information started with a welcoming speech by Massimo Rossi, Chairman of the historical sports club, Milan Pro Patria, and was followed by other prominent speakers who discussed professional updating themes including Le Petit Tennis (speaker: the famous coach Alberto Castellani and Jean-Philippe Fleurian, inventor of this innovative coaching system for children), leg play and the point of impact in different strokes (speaker Francisco Roig, coach of Rafael Nadal), how to improve speed and smashes quickly: a journey through technology and biomechanics (speaker Wifredo Porta Navarro, trainer of the coaches of Moya and Nadal), and many more. On the first day of the Symposium, Casali was proud to present its line of SUPERSOFT tennis court surfaces, which captured the interest of the specialists in the audience and the particular appreciation of Enzo Anderloni, Director of “Il Tennis Italiano”, the leading Italian Tennis magazine.
