Simone Bolelli wins the Guzzini Challenger

Italy triumphs on the Supersoft court of the Guzzini Challenger: Simone Bolelli won the 25th edition of the tournament beating the French player Fabrice Martin, winner of the 2011 edition, in the finals. Simone Bolelli of Bologna beat the French player 6-3, 6-2 in an hour and twenty minutes before the many spectators that packed the stands of the Recanati (MC) 'Francesco Guzzini' Tennis Club for more than a week from the 14th July. An exciting hard-fought and highly technical game just like all the others played during this tournament which earned the appreciation of athletes and operators alike, including that of Bolelli – world ranking 112 after his win at Recanati – who said that in his opinion the Guzzini Challenger “merits a higher level”.
