Davis Cup, Bosnia Wins Through to the Next Round

In an extremely tight Group II tie and five exciting matches the Bosnian team beat Estonia 3-2 at the Tuzla SKPC Mejdan in Bosnia from 8 – 10 July getting through to the next round of the Davis Cup; the court with its blue internal area and light blue external area was realised specifically for the tournament with Casali’s highly elastic Confosport system. The opening match went to Estonian Jurgen Zopp who beat the Bosnian Aldin Setkic 3 - 2, but from then onwards the Bosnian team overwhelmed the Estonians with three consecutive victories – Amer Delic beat Jaak Poldma 3 - 0 going on to win the doubles 3 – 1 in partnership with Ismar Gorcic against Mait Kunnap-Jurgen Zopp. The last match went to the Estonian Vladimir Ivanov who beat Tomislav Brkic 2 - 1.
